Edulution meets with Zambian Government Education Officials

Over the past week, Edulution has had the privilege of conducting a series of successful high-level engagement meetings with key Zambian government and national stakeholders.
Muule Moonga, our Zambia Country Head, Richard Akwei, Edulution’s CEO, and Mulenga Mwamba, our Field Coordinator sat with the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Parliamentary Committee on Education and Ms Mwaluka from the State House.

Our team introduced Edulution’s mission and model, discussed our exploration of partnership and co-creation opportunities that align with national development priorities, and outlined ways to strengthen digital learning infrastructure and community-level implementation.
Richard Akwei and Muule Moonga shared a strategic overview of Edulution’s community-level and continental impact, as well as current digital learning initiatives and a vision for expansion. The Permanent Secretary from Zambia’s Ministry of Education provided significant context on national education priorities, challenges, and key expectations from private sector partners. This intel is key for Edulution’s future strategic operations in achieving results at scale.
The meetings also discussed aligning Zambia’s national education goals with digital transformation strategy, opportunities for co-creation, how to tackle logistical and infrastructural challenges in remote learning, exploring expanded models of collaboration such as feeding programs for learner wellbeing, as well as prospects into national plans for 2026 and beyond.
The next steps are crucial.
Edulution aims to set up scheduled centre visits, where Edulution Learning Centres will showcase implementation in real-time. Plans for future engagements include continued discussions to take place around the upcoming Indaba EdTech Education Forum and beyond, as well as follow-up actions through identifying focal points from each stakeholder institution in order to lead collaboration and maintain engagement momentum.
Each meeting concluded with expressions of mutual appreciation, commitment to collaborative progress, and a shared vision for transforming education in Zambia.
Edulution is immensely grateful for the opportunity to have spoken to leading government officials and is excited about growing these important relationships.
Thank you to our team and funders for making his happen, and to the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Parliamentary Committee on Education, and to the State House for taking the time to collaborate with Edulution.
