Zambia Programme
Our blended learning model is built for the last mile, operating in government schools, community halls, and even refugee camps to ensure no learner is left behind.
In Zambia, access to quality education is a lottery of geography.
For thousands of learners in remote and rural communities, the school day is defined by what’s missing: electricity, internet access, and sometimes even a fully trained teacher.
Foundational skills in maths and literacy are the first casualty, creating a learning gap that grows wider each year. This gap becomes a dead end, feeding a youth unemployment crisis.
This isn't a problem that can be solved with standard solutions; it requires a model that creates opportunities both in the classroom and beyond it.

Bringing education to remote schools that others can’t reach.
Edulution is here to ensure every child, no mater how remote their community, has access to foundational maths and numeracy.
We provide a proven, scalable blended learning model that not only helps learners catch up but is built for full adoption by the public education system.
By focusing on teacher empowerment and seamless integration with the national curriculum, we are creating a permanent pathway to better outcomes for every child, while tackling youth unemployment at the same time.
Solar Powered
Over half of our centres in Zambia are equipped with solar power, ensuring learning continues offline and off-grid.
Percentile Rank Shift
In national Grade 7 exams, Edulution learners show an average performance shift of 20 percentile ranks compared to their peers.
A proven pathway to national adoption
We currently operate in Mpumalanga through our implementation partner, Penreach. We have reached thousands of learners, demonstrating strong improvements in numeracy, high engagement, and high retention of locally recruited learning assistants.

EdTech & AI Indaba
Edulution is actively shaping the future of education in Zambia through convening the annual EdTech & Indaba, drawing businesses, non-profits and government into a coherent ecosystem focused on positive change.
Zambia is at a critical juncture in education reform, and the current momentum offers a unique opportunity for collaborative action. The Indaba will address core issues often sidelined in EdTech discourse, through keynote talks, collaborative roundtables, and practical policy recommendations.

Dr Kelvin Mambwe
Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Education, Zambia
“Edulution is helping fill key gaps in the education system and strengthening our national development efforts. We are committed to supporting and expanding this model.”
A solution for the whole system
A trusted partner for education in Zambia
In December 2023, Edulution signed a three-year Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Zambia’s Ministry of Education, specifically the Directorate of Open and Distance Education, DODE. Edulution Zambia is Vice Chair of the Ministry of Education's ICT Subcommittee, working with government to resource classrooms with next-generation technology.
This formal collaboration is key to integrating our proven model into the national education system, ensuring our impact is both scalable and sustainable.
Donor funding is the bridge that allows us to provide the proof, infrastructure, and momentum needed to take this innovation from a successful project to a permanent part of part of Zambia’s education curriculum.

Let's close the gap
Our model is proven, and our impact is clear. But to reach every learner who needs us, we need partners who share our vision. If you are a funder, government agency, or implementing organisation, let's connect.
Together, we can build a stronger education system for South Africa.
