Edulution Zambia Limited is a social enterprise founded in 2015. Using a novel entrepreneurial model our Mobile Learning Centres deliver effective foundational numeracy and literacy to thousands of vulnerable Zambian children from inner city townships to remote rural areas off the electric grid. Our innovative, accountable coaches facilitate active, self-paced, mastery learning in a supported and fun environment enabled by some bespoke cutting edge technology that delivers engaging content whilst measuring and feeding back on the progress of each learner. Our centres are currently located in Lusaka and across the Eastern Province. 


LOCATION : Lusaka, Zambia




  • As a member of senior leadership, to contribute to organizational initiatives to support the achievement of the core intent and outcomes of the Edulution Program

  • To implement, manage and report on structures, human resource planning and mobilization of the designated centres / locations 

  • To assist transference of values and ethos to the coaches and in turn learners on the Program 

  • To build relationships, deliver ongoing advocacy to centre / schools leadership and generate awareness and support for the Program




Program administration: 

  • Assist with coach selection days, training days, month end meetings and other similar events

  • Manage general admin tasks relating to coach recruitment, selection and deployment in addition to preparation and implementation of coach training sessions 

  • Handle all logistics pertaining to centres and field visits to Edulution learning centres


Record keeping:

  • Process new coach applications  

  • Maintain existing databases (training records, training registers)

  • Carry out the general day-to-day office and administrative duties relating to Program Administration and maintain specific inventories & databases 

  • Assist Program Manager with different tasks as needed


Centre and Coach support:

  • Provide a strong and accountable team structure with clarity around deliverables

  • Facilitate core values, uphold internal standards and protect assets and resources

  • Visit centres and work with coaches to uphold the Edulution coaching environment

  • Participate in carrying out coach evaluations

  • Develop deployment options that extend into succession planning in urban and rural locations 

  • Complete site visit reports and follow up on actions identified at centres 

  • Monitor and evaluate tech / solar situations and liaise with the hub for follow up

  • Provide on-going multi-level tech support to coaches as and when required


Foundation skills

  • Believe in our mission, goals and values

  • Well organised and able to multi-task

  • Good communicator and service oriented

  • Strong leadership skills (fostering teamwork, proactive problem solver) 


Professional/technical skills

  • At least three years experience working with youth education and/or community development

  • Experience with training, skills development processes and support structures

  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite. IT skills would be a plus.



  • Minimum 3 years experience working with development educational or youth related programs in a senior management position

  • College degree in community development, social science or relevant discipline. 

  • Current work permit or eligibility to work in Zambia



  • Valid driver’s license, preferably car license

  • Ability to travel around Lusaka and to rural locations

  • Willing to work on weekends (some Saturdays and occasional Sundays) when the need arises
