The EdTech Indaba Zambia

Zambia is at a critical juncture in education reform, and the current momentum offers a unique opportunity for collaborative action. The EdTech Indaba will bring together stakeholders from across the education and technology ecosystem to:

 

  • Promote innovation through interactive dialogue and knowledge exchange

  • Align NGO-driven initiatives with national policies from the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Technology and Science

  • Inform education policy for the sustainable expansion of digital learning

  • Attract investment by securing support from both local and global funders

 

The Indaba will address core issues often sidelined in EdTech discourse, through keynote talks, collaborative roundtables, and practical policy recommendations. Topics include:

  • Blended Learning: Integrating innovative NGO models into formal schooling

  • Mathematics Outcomes: Demonstrating successful tech-driven interventions

  • Data and Impact Tracking: Using M&E to drive measurable learning gains

  • Content Localisation: Designing digital content aligned to Zambian curricula

  • Funding Models: Exploring sustainable pathways for EdTech scale-up
